The Native Iowan

A chilly winter’s morn here in my valley. Ive been up since early, watching the prelims for today’s UFC 329 event in Las Vegas.

It’s a big dooo. Connor McGregor is back after 5years. He’s fighting Max Holloway. Its shall be a great match, noting the fights on the card are all damn good. Its a big event and attracts big names. Very much looking forward to some fire works in the octagon.

Son, Don, and grandson, Mendoza are in Vegas for the event.

Mendoza just turned 21 and as a present for both father and son (son and grandson) they are in Vegas today, shall travel the USofA for the next few weeks.

I am jealous…

Though I am neither mentally nor physically prepared to do a big state-side adventure, I am jealous.

I am a big fan of UFC. Have been to a few big UFC events. Love the vibe, the noise, the blood and sweat and struggles that are the Octagon.

The wholes scene is one big spectacle…

I just hope these two remember their manners, and dont end up in jail…

Time will tell.
