Talking with a friend of many decades, reminiscing of days gone, laughing at our youthful exuberance and foolish, oft times wasteful lifestyles. Mentioning the names of a few that didn’t make it… We were young and beautiful and thought we’d live forever, or, as the saying went in those foolish days, “die young and leave a good looking corpse”.
My buddy pointed out that these days we’re both too old to die young.
And thats a good thing.
