Mike’s Bikes… The tropics, trade winds, cold beer, and the meaning of life…

The tropics, trade winds, cold beer, and the meaning of life…

Bet you were going to get something deep n meaningful? Sorry, I am going to raise a complaint to the gods on high…

it’s 31c / 88f. The Sou’Westerly trades are glowing a gale. Check this out… very interesting: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trade_wind

I have been taught that the Solomons experiences a southwesterly, “komburu”, and a northeasterly, “ara”. My experience is that the noreasterly is a wet wind, and the souwesterly a dry wind.

And, today, now, the dern souwestly cooks my beer too dern quickly for my liking. I had forgotten you have to drink your beer fast, oh so fast in these islands.

Guess that’s as good as excuse as any for much of my past behaviour.

Smiles…
