The Hemmers in the Isles are thinking of the original two “olos” who started this mess, all those years ago.
Not sending a card. Not going to be there. But it is interesting to think… 65 years. Something like 120 offspring. An average of 1.8 births per annum. Hell of a long time. Hell of a lot of people touched.
I started thinking what other folks may have said about marriage and found this…
“Marriage is the process of finding out what kind of man your wife would have preferred”
“Marriage is the only war in which you sleep with the enemy”
“There is no perfect marriage, for there are no perfect men”
“There are two times when a man doesn’t understand a woman – before marriage and after marriage”
“Some husbands are living proof that a woman can take a joke”
“Marriage is the only adventure open to the cowardly”
“A happy marriage is a long conversation which always seems too short.”
“The world has grown suspicious of anything that looks like a happily married life.”
Well said, “on the road guy”…well said..You have parents who touched many many lives…mine for one…And you are following closely in their footsteps…
