First of the Fourth… traditionally “April Fools” day… April Fools’ Day, celebrated annually on April 1st, is a tradition rooted in centuries-old customs, likely stemming from spring equinox festivals marking nature’s renewal with mischief.
A lot going on around the Globe. I feel a chill wind of change blowing. I see sins of many fathers past, coming home to roost. I hear a shrill cry of angst coming from all corners.
The tide of change is forming off shore. Like a tropical-low, you can feel it building, brewing. It may take some time, its happening unseen, in the distance, will arrive when we least expect.
I shan’t predict or forecast. I am spending my retirement not as an active participant, my activist day are long gone, I am these days no more than a commentator. A comfortable ol-fart watching the glorious great pageant of life.
One old buddy spoke years ago of “Headlines from the Sidelines”… I understand, now.
One more week of being arse-bound. Got a lot to do, a lot to look forward to.
